I was recently seeing someone who I fell for and unfortunately, the feelings weren’t returned. (Falling for a close friend is hard for both people I think). After sitting around and feeling sorry for myself, I decided to take off in pursuit of self-discovery and awareness, adventure and most importantly, fun!

I was seeing someone who I fell for very hard and he didn’t want to hold me back from doing what I wanted to. So I took off in pursuit of adventure, change, healing. I keep returning home to this man because no matter how long I’m gone for, not a day goes by where I’m not thinking about him. Right now, we are back in limbo, not knowing what’s going on.

I’ve dedicated the last seven months of my life to traveling the world and plan to continue that journey next spring.

I’ve always felt something pulling me to travel. I feel very nomadic and I’m very at ease with laying my head down to rest in a different, strange and exciting place each night. There’s something very liberating about independent travel, something so healing about the sea.
